Write a story or create a comic strip for ‘a life without plastic’.

Garden/home treasure hunt!

Create a rainbow collage by collecting coloured materials from your garden or home.

What’s in your home?

Find 5 things in your house. What are they made from? Can you name the properties of the different materials?

Excellent electricity! Make a list using words/ drawings to find all the things in your home that use electricity. If you could keep only one item which would it be? Why?

Keep reading at least 15 minutes a day!

You could read to your teddies….make sure you use expression, you might even hear them giggle!  

Complete a postcard for someone you know self-isolating. You can use one of the attached templates or design your own!

Continue to work through your CPG books if you have them.

 Use a dice to randomly create 2, 2-digit numbers. Then add or subtract them. Can you write a word problem to match?

Have a hunt for any money around your home. Can you add it all up? Can you sort the coins?  

Collect some data for example: the different types of toys you have, the different colours of cars, etc. Present this in a tally, bar graph or pictogram.

Keep reading all you can! You can read books, magazine and even cereal boxes!   

New ‘2do’s’ have been set on Purple Mash. Please can you check children understand what to do as we have had a lot of work handed in which has not been completed.

Choose your favourite story or fairy tale and write a new version with you as the main character.

 

Junk modelling – make a 3D model using clean recyclables.  

Design your own board game. Write instructions on how to play it.

Complete the fluent in 5 questions attached.  There are 3 questions per day. If you don’t have a printer, you can just write the questions on some paper. 

Make a meal plan for the next week for your family.

 

Follow a new recipe.

Find a poem and learn it off by heart. Try performing it with actions!
