Virtual Science Week

Take some time this week to catch up on anything that has been set that you haven't had chance to do and look at our resources for science week. Decide with your family what you would like to do.

Maths: Time

- read, write and convert time between analogue and digital 12- and 24-hour clocks

- solve problems involving converting from hours to minutes; minutes to seconds; years to months; weeks to days.

Programming

- design, write and debug programs that accomplish specific goals, including controlling or simulating physical system

- choose a book, read it chapter by chapter, answering questions after each chapter

Geography

- understand geographical similarities and differences through the study of human and physical geography of a region of the United Kingdom, a region in a European country, and a region within North or South America

Choose a country or region from the following:

- the UK

 - another European country

 - somewhere in either North or South America

Like we did in school, find out information about the 3 different places, and compare them.

You could answer questions like these:

- Where would you rather live? Why?

- Which place is the most populated?

- Which is the most different to Thatcham? Explain why.

Present this in a form of your choosing
