‘Encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.’ 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Collective Worship
Through our range of worship opportunities we explore and promote Christian moral teaching which will equip children to navigate their everyday lives in the adult world.
We can see this reflected in their behaviour choices where they also draw upon their wisdom and the moral teachings that they have heard through worship in order to make the right decisions even when they are not able to explicitly articulate that these are Christian teachings.
Adults working in the school also model these intrinsic Christian teachings through their interactions with children and parents.
Class Worship
Pupils are developing their leadership through class worship. Class teachers have engaged in training related to effective class worship in addition to planning end of term worship opportunities.
Prayer
Pupils are encouraged to build their own prayers in an age appropriate way. This allows the children to have ownership of their own prayers and lead their own spiritual journey. Pupils see prayer in different styles from different denominations and allows them to explore their own preferred style of worship.
