Encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.’ 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Roman Day
Year 3
On Thursday 27th May a man called Marcus came in and taught us about Romans. Carter and Charlie’s arms got covered in olive oil as that is how the Romans cleaned themselves. We smelt some cheddar made of fish guts. He scared a lot of us by pointing a spear at us while shouting loudly and holding a shield. There were lots of interesting Roman objects to see. We liked looking at all the Roman stuff. In the hall Marcus put on a play about Roman soldiers. Miss Pooles had chains from head to toe. Maria got to hold a sword and poke Marcus in the stomach and he was in armour so he wasn’t hurt. It was a lot of fun and we learnt a lot!
