Our Vision and Values
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." 1 Thessalonians 5:11
We provide an inclusive learning community built on our Christian faith and values.
Together we aspire to nurture and develop the extraordinary potential in every member of our school family.
Faith, respect and spirit of enquiry drive us forward in our journey together.
We want everyone to do well, whatever their start in life. As adults in every role they play at school, we want to encourage the children, academically and as a person in the way they treat others and react to situations. We want them to find their true’ passions’ interests, enjoyment, and skills be that creative, musical or through sport and leadership.
We also know that our children’s parents’ and carers need encouragement and support. From a smile at the door, help with homework or when a more serious situation hits the family.
We therefore looked a St Barnabas, who was one of the first Christians. He was known as the great encourager. We then looked at the writing of one of his friends, Paul who said to a new church to: keep on encouraging each other.
So that, in simple terms, is our vision, our Biblical narrative, our words from the Bible.
We believe in encouraging the children, parents, carers and each other: friends and colleagues.
We follow the example of those first Christians who were following Jesus’ teaching. As we strive to also do this from a positions of faith or respect of the Christian faith
