School Council
Our School Council is made up of pupils from Years 1 to 6, and includes a member of the Senior Management Team. The representatives are selected by their peers through a class voting system. The School Council meets weekly to discuss matters which are important to their school and the wider school community. Discussions and decisions are made on a wide-range of issues which are important to them and the school. Following each meeting, the class representatives feedback the decisions to their individual classes.
The School Council has led many important and successful initiatives to date. For example:
Raising Money for various charities (NSPCC, CARE International, Sports Relief, Jeans for Genes to name a few)
Working closely with the school community and PTA to help identify areas within the school that need developing through fundraising.
Supporting the School re-name Houses and Classes during our 10th Birthday celebration.
